Welcome to cRUSH, a shrine to the hugely talented Australian actor Geoffrey Rush. My name's Grace and I've been a fan (or so-called "Rushie") since 2006 and continue to admire him in every new role I see him play. I've made, and continue to maintain, this little web site in his honour, and I hope I've done the great man justice.

6^th July 2011:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEOFFREY!!! I've drawn a sketch of the great man as Barbossa to mark his milestone 60^th! Many happy returns, Master Rush!

3^rd July 2011:

I've updated the films and awards pages and generally updated lil tidbits of info throughout the site. Plus it's only *3 days* until someone hits a milestone birthday!

6^th July 2010:

Happy Birthday Mr Rush! 59 today! :) Forgive my lack of updates - I've recently begun a new job and will catch up with the Geoffy-news and update the rest of this site at some point!

18^th February 2010:

Belated Happy New Year all! Geoffrey is currently on-stage again, this time in "The Drowsy Chaperone" in Melbourne, Oz. Go see the play if you have the chance. Also, cRUSH turns 4 on February 22^nd! Happy birthday my lil fansite. :)

Season's greetings and best wishes for the new year to all you Rushies and teh Master himself! Have fun!

24^th September 2009:

Geoffrey has confirmed that he will be in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, the subtitle of which was recently been revealed to be On Stranger Tides. This suggests that the film will likely be based on the Tim Powers novel of the same name. (I've managed to get a copy of the book and will begin reading it shortly.) Geoffrey has also been tipped to appear in two stage plays in Australia during 2010 - "The Drowsy Chaperone" in January and "Diary of a Madman" in December. These will play in Melbourne and Sydney respectively. I wish I had such stamina!

10^th September 2009:

I've finally uploaded all the "Exit the King" stuff that I meant to finish and upload months ago. (See "Exit the King" and Events page.) I've also added to the films list since Geoffy has confirmed to be doing a few more projects now! Apologies for my continued tardiness - I'm simply an excellent procrastinator when I choose to be. XD

Also... WELL DONE Geoffrey upon winning the Raymond Longford Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Australian Screen Industry from the Australian Film Institute! Well deserved! (Hear his acceptance speech HERE.)
